Dedicated to improving society and the field of design and technology, I serve as a leader for several organizations and volunteer in my local community. Through these engagements, I seek to diversify the field and empower new voices toward ethical and positive design futures.




Co-launched the 400+ member Chicago chapter—includes talks, workshops and engages with the international futures community

Develop, organize, and facilitate multiple national and international events—serving the design research community

Created annual budgets, themes, and coordinated public talks and workshops with the top design and tech voices in the field

Served in various roles since 1996 at both the local and national levels

Involved an alum and former adjunct professor, including mentorship, visiting critic, and National Portfolio Reviewer

Selected to serve as a strategic advisor and mentor for student-led entrepreneurial business ventures
